Katelyn Crawford is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Reset Counseling & Wellness. She created Women’s Reset Weekend Retreats as a space for women who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected to step out of survival mode and reconnect with themselves in a more grounded, sustainable way.
Her work is rooted in a nervous system informed, bottom up approach to healing. Rather than focusing only on thoughts, Katelyn helps women understand what is happening in their bodies and gives them practical tools to regulate, feel safer, and move through life with more ease.
Katelyn is also a certified yoga teacher and EMDR trained practitioner. Throughout the retreat, she leads guided support and connection circles, sound baths, journaling experiences, and select yoga sessions. Each offering is designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and build awareness in a way that feels supportive and accessible.
She believes that healing happens in safe, connected environments and through experiences the body can actually feel, not just talk about.
These retreats are not therapy, but they are intentionally designed to support your nervous system and give you tools you can take back into your daily life.
Katelyn’s role throughout the weekend is to guide, support, and hold space so that each woman can have her own unique experience while still feeling grounded and cared for.
Shelly Cheek is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over a decade of experience, bringing a thoughtful and integrative approach to bodywork. She earned her certification from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in New York and has been practicing since 2011.
Her work blends therapeutic massage with a deep understanding of the mind body connection, creating sessions that support both physical relaxation and nervous system regulation. Shelly is also trained in Ashiatsu massage through DeepFeet Ashiatsu, allowing her to offer deeper, more grounded pressure when needed while still maintaining a calming and supportive experience.
Throughout the retreat, Shelly provides 60 minute therapeutic relaxation massages designed to help the body unwind, release tension, and come out of a constant state of stress. Her approach is intuitive and customized, meeting each person where they are and creating a space where the body can begin to soften and feel safe.
Shelly is committed to ongoing education and uses high quality, organic oils and creams, being mindful of what is placed on the body. Her work is centered around supporting comfort, balance, and overall well being.
Her presence at the retreat adds an important physical component to the experience, allowing participants to not only talk and process, but to truly feel the shift in their bodies.
